Server Log Files
In server log files, the website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically sends to us. These are:
- (1) used browser types and versions,
- (2) the operating system that's being used,
- (3) the website from which someone comes to our website (so-called referrers),
- (4) sub pages, which are visited on our website,
- (5) date and time when our website is being accessed,
- (6) the IP-address,
- (7) the internet service provider of the accessing system.
The IP addresses of the visitors are being anonymised in the log files. There is no data merged together with other data sources. The processing
of personal data is based on Art. 6 para. 1b) GDPR.
Cookies and Google Analytics
Our website uses functions of Google Analytics. The provider of this web service is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses "cookies." These are small text files which are saved by your web browser and which allow to analyse how you use the website. The information generated by cookies about your use of our website is transmitted to a Google server and stored there. Server location is usually the US.
Google Analytics places the cookies based on Art. 6 para. 1f) GDPR. As the operator of this website, we have a legitimate interest in the analysis of user behavior in order to optimize our website.
Anonymisation of the IP-Address
We use the IP anonymisation feature of Google Analytics. It ensures that - prior to transmission to the United States - Google shortens your IP address within member states of the European Union or other contracting states of the European Economic Area. There may be exceptions where the full IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the United States and shortened there. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to report on website activity, and to provide us with other services related to website activity and internet usage. There is no merger of the Google Analytics transmitted IP address with other Google data.
Google Analytics
You can prevent the storage of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software. Likewise, you can prevent Google to collect and process data relating to your website use, including your IP address. This is possible by downloading and installing the browser plug-in using the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
For details on how to handle user data on Google Analytics, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy: www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html
Processing
To fully comply with legal data protection requirements, we have a processing contract with the personal data processors - in our case Google Inc. and 1 & 1 Internet SE.
